FREE AIRPLANE RIDES
YOUNG EAGLES WILL FLY AGAIN AT TAMIAMI AIRPORT!
On Saturday, October 14, 2017, "EAA", The Leader in Recreational Aircraft will again be giving free Airplane rides to kids aspiring to become future Pilots or just interested in airplanes. The local Tamiami Airport Chapter 620 will be giving rides to all kids ages 8 to17 showing up with their parents at the Airport on Saturday morning starting at 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (weather permitting), First come, First to Fly, “No Reservations”, at the “TIKI HUT” on the South Side of Tamiami Airport / Miami Executive Airport, behind Reliance Aviation. Just follow the signs.
The rides are free and are given by local volunteer EAA pilots to promote and help cultivate an interest in AVIATION and to future pilots. The Young Eagles program is a national event sponsored by the EAA and promoted by people such as: Actor / Pilot Harrison Ford, Former Chairman, Test Pilot, Chuck Yaeger, Former Chairman, and US Air Pilot, “Sully” Sullenberger.
Come on out and get involved, get your kids involved in something that can last a lifetime, you don’t have to be a pilot to love Aviation, we have several members that are not Pilots.
Attached is a Parental Release form that must be filled out and signed. Have forms filled out for each Young Eagle when you arrive.
